“Fresh Fish”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

Everything is fresh from steamed clams, oysters in the shell (grilled or raw), fish & chips, etc... This place is also allergy friendly for DSW as will grill the fish and fries are cooked in Canola.

“What FISH you want in Seattle is here, you betcha!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2013 via mobile

In one visit we have a poind of fresh steamed clams, a dozen pefectly grilled oysters in the shell, and the largest Cod fish and chips. Total= $29. Are you crazy? NO! The shellfush is fresh, fresh, fresh out of Puget Sound. The Pacific Cod is, well, reslly fresh. No need to settle for some tourist trap, head to West Seattle for you fish fantasies. Ya sure, you betcha!

“Great Fish!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012 via mobile

My wife and I live within walking distance and quite often stop by to pick up fresh fish to cook on the grill. They always have a great selection of salmon, tuna, halibut, etc.. Additionally the shellfish options such as clams, mussels, crab, etc is great too. When the opened up their small restaurant we began sampling various items on the menue and have always been pleased. It's great to have a wonderful place so close by. We'll be back very soon!!

“Jewel in the rough”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

Jewel in the rough... and I hope it stays that way. I could see walking past this little fish market turned fish bar and not giving it a second thought. But you'd be missing out on some of the better, fresher seafood in Seattle at a price that can't be beat.
This is exactly what Seattle is lacking. Hole in the wall shops selling great quality at reasonable prices... hold the "Wrought iron, ironic theme, and "Best mac and cheese" (or is it anything with pork belly these days? I've lost track of the trends) and just give me good food.

The owner and staff are on it and ready to make you feel like friends just popped in for a visit. (Not that I care, you can openly insult me if you're bringing me good food. I'm tired of the whiners doling out 1 star to restaurants because they didn't make friends with the waiter)

Their fish and chips are better than anything you're going to find on the waterfront. The fries alone make them better than 90% of what's offered.

Mussels were plump and properly seasoned with a healthy dose of parsley to brighten them up.

The oyster poboy was more than a meal with its generous serving of panko battered oysters, still tender and juicy, accompanied by a fresh, high quality mixed green salad with housemade vinaigrette.

Stop in, don't let the fluorescent lights fool you.
