Cozy cocktails in the Garden Terrace, dinner down the street, a show at the Paramount, and a nightcap, followed by a heavenly night in our corner king room. It was a perfect 24 hour getaway with my husband.

This was our second visit to the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, and I am anxious to return! Elegance abounds wherever you look in this magnificent historic hotel. It is in a great location with many attractions nearby. The staff here are wonderful, especially Andrew, at the front desk. He was always friendly, helpful and let us check in early which was so nice. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. The Georgian Room for breakfast is outstanding, and the bar/lounge area in late afternoon is an enjoyable spot to have a cocktail. Getting a ride in the hotel Jaguar to the Space Needle for dinner was a great perk also! Looking forward to our next visit!

This beautifully maintained, historic hotel is well located and provided excellent service when I arrived for a short stay missing my suitcase. The staff could not have been more helpful, my room was large, beautifully decorated and comfortable. My only regret is that I could not stay longer.

My wife and I stayed at this very nice hotel while visiting Seattle, and were more than satisfied. They let us check in early, they have a very nice fitness center, pool, and hot tub, and breakfast was absolutely delicious! It was a very pleasant stay and we'd likely stay there again if we had the chance. Only downside is it is a little pricey. That being said, you get what you pay for!

Online check in, friendly and professional staff, use of hotel car for short trips and room service excellent. Only issue was the no hot water despite reporting. Expected more from spa treatment because of the price.

Firstly, this hotel is stunning. Beautiful. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of elevators that are fast, I stayed there 6 days and never had to wait more than 20 seconds for an elevator and they were nearly always empty, despite very busy hotel. The fitness facility is great with a beautiful pool. However, the windows in the rooms are paper thin with huge gaps around them. You can hear everything outside. We asked for the quietest room, it took 3 attempts but still had to use earplugs every night. The mattresses also need to be replaced. They're really soft, and if you move your wife bounces. People who review bed comfort should really say whether mattresses are hard, soft or supportive, and not just say beds are comfortable as I have read for this hotel. It may be comfortable to sink in to a deep bowl shape for some people, but it's really bad for your back, and actually painful for those of us with back injuries. I ended up sleeping on a cot which was perfectly supportive, but my feet hung out the end. Overall not a five star hotel, but could be with a little investment.

This was my first stay at the Seattle Fairmont, but have stayed at other properties in Victoria and Vancouver. We had an Executive Suite, which has a separate seating area, which was great to have. We could open the windows, which I like to do., It is an older hotel, but has all modern amenities. We even had a Kuerig coffee maker in the room. It was in a great location, and we could easily walk to Pike's Market, and the Monorail. The carpets could stand a cleaning.
