When we are in Seattle this is our Go To hotel!!!! Hotel is in a great location. Check out the Purple Onion Restaurant and the Capital Grill!! Again one of my favorite things about Fairmont is the car service!! They arranged for us to be dropped off at Safeco for a ball game and dropped off at the Train Station. Great Service from all the staff

We stayed at the Olympic one night after a gorgeous trip to Olympic National Park, and it was a luxurious ending to our outdoors-y vacation in the Pacific Northwest.

Pros:
The room was gorgeous. We got an Executive Suite which was a nice size, comprised of a sitting room and a bedroom separated by a set of French doors. All the finishes are quite luxurious, in a classic (as opposed to modern, trendy) sort of way.he

The fitness/pool area had a fair variety of cardio machines, weight training equipment, and cute extras like a sauna and a whirlpool. You can also order food to be delivered to the pool area. We didn't actually do this, but what a great idea.

The location was central: a block (uphill) from the light rail to the airport, a couple of blocks to Pike Place.

The common areas: one thing Fairmont does extremely well is their lobby/common areas. Just breathtaking--when you walk in, it's almost like you immediately exhale, and breathe in the opulence.

Cons:
Parking: The only parking I'm aware of is the $45/day valet service.

Ventilation: Like most of their older properties, the Olympic does not have a ventilation system in the bathrooms.

The Olympic had that old charm that is missing in most of the new hotels, the grand entrance and the 2 beautiful foyers are stunning and very wellcoming

At the end of August we stayed at the Fairmont Olympic for a week. It was one of the best experiences we had at the Fairmont Hotel Chain.
From the manager to the the the room service; from the concierge to the chamber maids' manager; from the lobby to the rooms, every thing and everyone was top notch.

Everyone at the hotel made us feeling at home, their customer services was excellent and we sincerely do recommend this hotel to everyone that goes to Seattle

Room Tip: The executive suites on the 11th floor are excellent and very well equiped

The Fairmont very much reminded us of The Drake in Chicago, very grand and ornate. We had two stays during our trip the first one for 5 days. Our room on the 3rd floor was incredibly small and old fashioned, I was quite disappointed. When we returned our room was on the 11th floor and was so much better, bigger and lighter in decor. During our first stay we very much enjoyed the variety of the Olympic breakfast, we returned a week later to find it had all changed with no hot buffet options and a total let down for our last morning in Seattle.
The concierge and valet services were top notch and the bar/ restaurant really great. The biggest disappointment for us was the lack of free wifi - needless to say we had to enjoy several Starbucks coffees!

Room Tip: Rooms on the 11th floor are bigger - we didn't have a nice view in either room

Excellent stay & location. Accommodating, they aim to please, the executive suite was beautifully appointed & comfortable, the bathroom adorned with white marble & granite, magnified makeup mirror, ionic blowdryer, comfy terry robe & slippers, premium amenities, French Le Labo shampoo, soap, lotion, gel. On location Spa, with more amenities such as dry sauna, indoor pool, large hot tub & terrace with a gorgeous atrium above it. Great exercise equipment. Attentive help, from spa helper, front desk, room service, lobby bar, pianist in the evening lobby bar, complimentary car service in a luxury sedan. Oyster happy hour!

After seen the sites & lots of walking, throughout our vacation, coming back to the Fairmont each evening was so welcoming. This is our type of hotel and we are looking forward to staying at the Fairmont(s) again.

Room Tip: If you want quiet, ask for a courtyard room.

We splashed out and had a suite here, it was very grand and very nice, we ate in the restaurant and I have to say the food was simply awesome! We ate in the main restaurant and they have deals for guests on main meals so check these out, but I cannot recommend the restaurant high enough. Staff were very helpful and its a lovely hotel, if not a little expensive. The location was ok, but to be honest we preferred the location of the roosevelt hotel where we also stayed. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport and would highly recommend this hotel

we arrived at the hotel and straight away i was handed my key from reception which was super good. the location is fantastic, service was really good, food was nice, concierge is top notch!
when we got to the room they had done a really sweet set up for my son, some cookies + sweets and milk, really nice touch i appreciated it a lot.
room was a bit damp, maybe they shampooed the carpet and hasnt dried but nevertheless it was a really good stay.

Room Tip: usually i would stay in higher floors and somewhere away from the elevators and service doors.
