The Fairmont was a great experience in a great location, The accommodation was wonderful and the rooms are large and on the romantic side. We walked to the Ball park and joined a lot of other walkers too. Restaurants are abundant and all just around the corner. The heart of the shopping district is just steps away. You could not be in a better location. I love Seattle!

I only stayed here for one night so I am only commenting on the room and location. The location is fantastic, a short walk from the market and tons of restaurants (recommend Lola on 4th for brunch) and just a block away from the train to get to the airport (just $2.75 and takes about 45 min).

After staying at the Waterfront Fairmont in Vancouver I must say I'm quite disappointed from this Fairmont. The rooms need upgrading. Water pressure was weak, pillows lumpy, and the bed was sagging. I prefer the W nearby for the money for a longer stay.

We had a great service at the hotel. The staff was friendly and responsive. Location was great - close to everything - walking distance to most attractions or transportation. Hotel has a very old feel - it is luxurious and charming, but also outdated. Recommend updating to a suite to get more room (actually get a separate living room). The pool and the spa were great.

We love the Fairmont Chain of hotels, and the service in Seattle was exceptional.
Our room was a deluxe Suite, and felt dated. When we walked in, it smelt old and musty - almost like an old Smoking Room.
The power sockets in the living area were falling out of the wall and the decor definitely needs a refresh and a touch of modernising. The floral drapes felt a little like staying at your Grandmothers house, but then we are used to Fairmont Beijing which is more modern.

The breakfast was amazing. The Buffet items divine and the dining room is breathtaking.

Room Tip: Make sure they give you a room without ex-smokers smells.

Thank you for taking time to write about your stay. We are glad to hear you are familiar with the Fairmont brand. Many of our hotels in Asia are indeed, new. The Fairmont Olympic is a historic property that opened in 1924 and we take great pride in maintaining it. We recently remodeled the athletic club & pool, the Georgian restaurant and all of our meeting space. We recently upgraded all of our televsions to HD flatscreens (some rooms have 2) as well as replacing all the beds. We hope you will join us again the next time you visit Seattle!

My husband and i had one night here before a cruise. From the moment the door man opened the taxi door we were always treated professionally and efficiently. The hotel has all the charm of the old days with rooms beautifully appointed and bathrooms roomy with every amenity on needs. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again. The location was also an added bonus near the harbour and shops and breakfast was amazing in the Georgian room

This venerable luxury hotel was just the place to pamper ourselves after a full flight stuck in apparently the only two seats on the plane that didn't recline -- thank you, Delta. Opened in 1924, this elegant and historic property has kept up with the times to offer all the 21st Century amenities required by today's travelers. Our room was spacious, quiet and well-appointed with firm, sleep-inducing queen beds and understated brown marble in the bath. We enjoyed the Georgian room for breakfast (they also offer afternoon tea & dinner entrees reflecting the Pacific Northwest -- with a French twist); there's also the hotel's famous oyster bar, Shucker's. The staff was first-rate, helpful and friendly, from the front desk to the concierge to the wait staff. The hotel's within easy walking distance of Pike Place Mkt. and the monorail stop for those heading out on the short ride to the Space Needle and the adjacent Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum (a must-see). Run by the operators of the Fairmont in San Francisco and the Savoy in London, the hotel also has a car with a wonderful English driver who can drop you off around downtown and pick you up if needed. While it is certainly pricier than a Holiday Inn, sometimes you just deserve to treat yourself.

Room Tip: We were guided by our requirements and the hotel's reservations operator -- and it worked out pe...

From reservation process to check out my stay could not have been better. We used everything available except the dining outlets and everything was great. The exercise and pool area was super clean. All staff from door man to gym attendant were efficient and courteous. The concierge helped numerous times with tickets to shows and transportation. We used the town car during the Fireworks to get to Ralph's market and the driver was excellent. We will defiantly be retuning as we stop in to the area at least once yearly.
