We walked around campus to get a feel for what it would be like to attend school there and it was enormous but had beautiful grounds and buildings. Since we were on a college exploration trip we visited the computer science building (newer and beautiful design) and then the school of education building (older and outdated - no surprise;). Overall it was a good visit which required lots of walking to get a good feeling for a majority of the campus. We also visited the UW gardens near the sound and there is a lovely trail which leads by the water and through wooded glens, this was all free and refreshing.
