The hotel was fine (a little dirty) but there was an INSANE Hindi wedding reception for 300 plus people going on till 1:00 am that was ridiculously loud. I'm mean, worse than a neighborhood high school party you call the cops on for breaking city ordinance.

When we called the front desk they said it was the typical noise level and suggested ear plugs.

I would have had an easier time sleeping with an off-balance washing machine running in my room.

Seriously ludicrous for a Marriot.

Thank you Ashleyuno1 for your feedback.

I would like this opportunity to apologize for the inconvenience of the wedding reception during your recent visit to the Seattle Waterfront Marriott. Excessive noise at 1am is unacceptable at our hotel and please know we have had internal discussions to ensure this type of incident does not happen again.

At your convenience, I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you further. Please contact me at 206.256.1013.

Thank you and I look forward to speaking with you.

"The pool is out of order but being replaced by access to a suite" was the first thing that we were told when we arrived - we never did find out how the one is a suitable replacement for the other but it was very disappointing after a week on the road to not be able to make use of one of the facilities that the hotel was selected for! These things happen though - not the staff's fault.

The hotel was pleasant enough, with (obviously) great views of the waterfront. A light lunch in the restaurant was very tasty and served in a friendly manner; the hotel bar a nice place to spend a hour in the evening and the room was much the same as this class of Marriot anywhere in the world - a good size, kept spotlessly clean with all of the facilities that one expects.

This hotel is in a terrific location and the staff were very accommodating. The rooms are lovely, not large but very clean and modern and comfortable. It is not a budget hotel but you can't beat the location near the waterfront and Pike Place Market.

Room Tip: It was worth getting a waterfront room so that we could wake up each morning and fall asleep each ev...

Great location during the day. Close to the waterfront. But beware that it is four blocks of steep uphill to the downtown core, so it's a bit of an exercise.

Horrible at night. Safety concern. There are signs everywhere cautioning people against crimes at night because there are very few people around. We were actually followed by a homeless person and were quite concerned.

If you like the waterfront, go there during the day for a walk. Don't stay at this hotel.

Also, the air conditioning is terribly loud. And the hotel is next to the train tracks for heck's sake. If you must stay at this hotel, being earplugs. I am not exaggerating.

Room Tip: At least half of the rooms in this hotel would be noisy and next to the train tracks or has loud air...

I love the waterfront in Seattle. This Marriott is perfectly located. We had a balcony overlooking the road and toward the water. Sure, there were cars but they were not a problem for us. We would stay here any time. It is expensive though.

I stayed 3 nights and 4 days in that great hotel. It was a great location to be able to enjoy Seattle with in minutes. The double queen suite was very clean and comfortable. The bed & pillows were great as well. If your looking for a great place to stay while your in Seattle this would be the place!

Stayed one night, the bedding was skimpy, the room noisy due to the trains rumbling by at all hours and the concierge breakfast area was woefully crowded and the poor girl serving us was overwhelmed. Location is good and the front desk staff accommodating, just not up to par for a $300/night hotel.
