Visiting Fuji Bakery is always an adventure, with many different kinds of high end breads and pastries, all at very affordable prices. Owner Aki Nakamura is not only a baker, he is an artist! They were just featured in Sunset Magazine.

This is not a place for the Adkins dieter. This is the place for bread lovers, brioche addicts and pastry purists. There may be fancier bakeries around Seattle, but do they stuff salmon into a perfect buttery brioche cube for less than $3? No, tomodachi-san, they do not. Only Fuji works such magic. The bacon epi is a meal in itself, with its savory mustard and pepper flavorings. Go hungry and go often, and bring a few extra for later in the day. It's that good.

This is one of the best things to happen to the Inernational District in Seattle since Maneki and Uwajimaya. Really good and inventive baked goods, and they have decent espresso frinks too. They should have smaller sizes in coffee, but this is just my personal preference.
There are about six different options of everything and each one looked so good.
This is a perfect spot to stop in while exploring the area and treat yourself to something yummy.
