This must be the one visit a tourist needs to see, if there could only be one. Located in a great downtown location so easy to walk to other shops/restaurants etc.

Lots of activity going on and great fresh produce, fish and locally made crafts.

Very close to the waterfront - so by taking in this one attraction you are pretty close to everything else, including the ferris wheel.

The Public Market is large there are all kinds of vendors, the fresh flower display was very impressive. There's a lot to see and buy and food to eat. It is located in the old part of Seattle so the neighborhood is not too safe for hanging around.

No matter where you go in the market there is something different and interesting, all kinds of art and eats and fish flying through the air , wow , what a show all good, so go,,,, enjoy ,,,, eat something , drink something. If you don't have a good time at the market it's your own fault. Just saying

Eat, Drink, & be Merry. Something for everyone at the Public Market. I wouldn't recommend taking kids, it get's really crowded. Beautiful Flower Market and the bouquets are very reasonable. Lot's of shopping, places to eat, entertaining show watching the fishermen throw the fish. The first Starbucks store is across the street. Allow enough time to see everything.

Our group of 18 from a eastside company went on the 1 hour Public Market Tour and loved it. Carla, our tour guide, shared quite a lot of information and interesting history that we all went away appreciating more of what the Public Market gives to the city of Seattle. Booking the tour was very easy and Ash & Kelsey, from the tour office, communicated via email & phone prior to the tour date to confirm meet time and place. They even met us before the tour started to say hi.
Now that is great customer service!

We live in Seattle but still take time to do "tourist" things throughout the year. We took the Pike Place Market tour with a Groupon deal. It would have been worth it at full price. Our tour guide was very good and knowledgeable about the Market and its history. A worthwhile way to kill a couple hours.
