“Good location, rooftop view, secure parking, location.”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We stayed here for one night over Labor Day weekend while we enjoyed Bumbershoot. The location was perfect, easy walking to Seattle Center and local stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. The rooms are nothing fancy but met our needs. All rooms have a little kitchen area with sink, fridge, and small microwave. Complimentary microwave popcorn and 2 bottles of water are a nice touch. There is a Starbucks adjacent to the lobby. They also have secure parking at an ok daily rate, and you can stay parked for the day after you check out. My only suggestion if you are considering a stay here is to request a room on the upper floors. We were on the 1st floor and there was a lot of street noise. We bought earplugs at the drugstore nearby and slept fine. If your visiting Seattle and do not plan on spending a lot of time in your room then this would be a good choice.

Room Tip: Top floors will have less noise and probably a nice view.

we stayed here for two nights because their rates are reasonable. The best part of this hotel, is the Starbucks located near the lobby as a separate business. They have free WiFi, and plugs outputs hidden under the counter. we took our laptops down each morning, ordered a coffee, and worked for 30 to 40 minutes with our laptop. The hotel charges for Internet service. Rooms are average. Garage parking is very narrow, and there is a limit on ceiling height. Large SUVs, can be parked in the under ground garage, but will take some maneuvering. Parking is secured, and you use your room key to get in and out. Parking fees are in addition to room costs. WiFi is in addition to room cost. Great Thai restaurant within a block. Nice location to catch buses. Nothing special about the hotel other than location and average room rate compared to others in the area.

Room Tip: Nothing to add. Room faced indoor court and was noisy. Not sure where the better rooms are.

First, room was really noisy due to street traffic and need to keep window open b/c no air conditioning. Hotel was sold out, so we couldn't be moved. Sorry I was on a lower floor. Second, fire alarm (false) sounded at 1:30 am., so everyone in the entire hotel had to vacate. Fortunately, there was no fire and we we're only outside for 15-20 min. Happy I was on a lower floor. Third, we never received our requested wakeup call. This is simply inexcusable. Room was clean and comfortable enough, but nothing outstanding about this property. No reason to stay there again.

Room Tip: Upper floor away from Queen Anne Avenue would be quieter.

Hotel was in a good location close to the Space Needle & Seatlle Center. Room had no ac which was not too bad but got stuffy at night since we couldnt open windows due to the street noise. Bed tipped on one side getting in and out. Worst thing was someone pulled the fire alarm at 1 am so hotel had to evacuate until fd cleared it. No fire anywhere so I guess someone was just playing around. Stuff happens but management seemed not to care much about the inconvenience of it all. No customer service to speak of and called us by the wrong name even though it was right in front of them.

Room Tip: Far away from street as possible.

Sunday sept 1, 2013 was my second day at the hotel
Toilet running in my room
Phone down to reception at 7:15 am to mention toilet running. Promise to send someone up.
Return to room at 12:30 and my room has not been serviced so I phone down to request that and mention toilet still not fixed. Promised a prompt response.
Return to room 10 pm and toilet still running.
No explanation at desk during third call.
No manager on duty,
Perfectly acceptable for a two star hotel say in Turkey.
But in Seattle at $150 a night?
No!!!
The only good thing about this place is the location.

Its the perfect place to stay in Seattle. We were there for a family trip, but it would be just as good for a business trip. The place starts amazing with a Starbucks that is attached to the lobby. The front desk staff are very nice, and helpful, even at 2am when we arrived late off a flight. Rooms are very clean and 2 free Starbucks coffee packets are provided. A great thing to do at night would be to go up on the roof top deck and watch the sun set with the Seattle skyline in the background. The hotel is 2-3 blocks away from the city center (where the space needle is) and if you ask, you can get a room with a view of it. Its in a good neighborhood (Queen Anne hill) and you could take the monorail into the city from the city center.

Possibly the only down sides of this hotel are that parking is not included, but thats not unusual for a hotel in the city. I do also believe that Wi-Fi might have had a fee (~$5 ish) too, but you could just use the free computers in the lobby

HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Room Tip: Go up on the rooftop deck and watch the sun set. Its beautiful! ALSO try to ask for a corner room. I...

We travel a lot and this place is icky! Stains on carpet, tray lamps and bedding. Not to mention esthetically dated and unmatched. Pillows flat as pancakes. We expected more from the reviews. The best parts of here...free bottled water and fridge in room, Starbucks next door and free wifi in LOBBY. Won't stay here again!
