“Wow!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

Arrived in Seattle yesterday for a visit w/daughter & son-in-law, who live down the street. Both are "picky" eaters. They had been to Momiji before and suggested we go there.

The menu is extensive and the food fabulous! Original specialty rolls, terrific side of pickled ginger, wonderful atmosphere and super service.

In addition to Hamachi tartare and fried calamari for the table, my hubby had a 2 full portions of tuna and squid sashimi, and then 3 of us devoured SEVEN rolls:Rockstar,Knockout,Flaming Tuna(2),legend,Caterpillar and Momiji. The Rockstar and Knockout were MY favorites...but all were great tasting!

The total bill, including drinks($18) and tip was $217.00......certainly not cheap.....but there are times you DO get what you pay for.

Would return in a heartbeat.

“Great Food & Colorful Neighborhood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012

We chose to eat in the bar which turned out to be the best seat in the house. The street side windows were slid open which gave us a great view of the colorful pedestrian traffic. The bartender who waited on us was attentive and provided suggestions on the his favorite dishes when we asked for his input. . Overall a wonderful experience as we enjoyed the fresh breezes, great food and an interesting environment.

“Excellent Japanese Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2012

We went there with our family for dinner. The restaurant is a bit hard to find & park yet it is well worth it! You would never know how BIG it is until you step inside. Upon entering the premises, you enter another dimension & you are in awe: the simplicity, the peace, the elegance, and the Japanese garden in the middle w/fountain....amazing! The food is exceptional. The menu is fabulous – from regular to vegetarian – there is something for everyone. Quick choices are hard to make so go in a group, eat family style and try a little of everything! We will definitely go there again!

“best spicy sushi in seattle”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2012

Excellent place to hang-out. Drinks are good. nice ambience for group of friends. And the sushi is just too good. I like spice sushi and their "hotter than hell" sushi just rocks.

The only reason I skipped 1 star is because slightly expensive and parking just sucks. We had to park 3 blocks away, but the sushi made up for that.

“very original”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2012

I have been eating sushi for decades and it gets boring, same old rolls etc. Now Momiji has come along and brought new delicious and creative rolls to Seattle.
