You may have to wait a while to get in, but once you are, it's pretty groovy. Large cocktail menu. The drinks we had were good but tended to be a bit strong. Don't go on an empty stomach. Only saw one bathroom, which was on constant rotation. Nice ambiance, but the music got weird at the end of the night. Seriously. 80s Michael Jackson, Devo, Enya? Odd. Or, maybe it was just the cocktails.

This place was recommended to us by our waitress at a nearby restaurant. Would never have found it if not for her directions! We sat downstairs but it sounds like the action was upstairs! Service was slow but we weren't in a hurry. Ambience was great and the novelty of a speakeasy was fun.

A little hard to find, but well worth the effort. Top notch ambiance. I've been to other speakeasies in LA and SF, but none as discreet or intimate as this. Service was exceptional.

This "speakeasy" located in an alley on 2nd and Blanchard is a great find. There's virtually no signage other than a plaque on the wall next to the door to assist you in locating the place, bbut that's half the fun. This 2 story, dark space has no more than 30 seats on boh floors. On the top floor is the bar with maybe 7 stools and downstairs are a few tables with chairs. It's very simple and liquor is the name of the game. I don't think there was any food, only a great bartender who clearly had lots of knowledge of mixology and and upbeat disposition. If you're looking for a drink before or after dinner, I'd definitely suggest this place. It's very uniaue
