“Well worth the visit!”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

If you are in Seattle Centre the Gates Foundation is well worth your time. The visitors centre is set up to be very interactive and extremely inspiring. The centre also does not charge anything or even ask for donations as they would prefer to inspire you to be the change.

The Gates Visitor Center is an excellent, interactive attraction for all ages. It challenges you to think about your role in the world and how you can give back. Beautifully designed and professeionally staffed. It is close the the space needle and worth a visit.

“Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center is amazing!”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

The Gates Foundation has built a new campus right next to the Seattle Space Needle and other museums. The Visitor's Center is an amazing array or interactive, hands on, fun stations to help even the youngest kids to understand what the Foundation is doing, what the needs of the world are, and how to best tackle them. It is not a downer at all. It is a very inspiring and upbeat look at how we really can change the world for better. And it is right next to all the other major Seattle attractions. GO!!

“A must-see, in walking distance from the Space Needle”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

This is an interesting and informative stop, doubly so if you're traveling with teens. I had some idea of the work ot the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation before I arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised at the true scope of their work. This foundation is providing much needed aid around the world, teaching people how to improve their lives and create a future for their children. Go there. You'll be humbled by the experience. Hint: Park at Westlake Center and take the monorail to the Space Needle.
