Great for breakfast if you are in the neighborhood. We were staying just down the street at a B&B and this was a short walk away. We went there twice - once for breakfast around 9am on a Sat. and then back the next day for a coffee and muffin at 8am. Both times we were greeted warmly, served promptly. The food - french toast is marvelous, some kind of thick artisan style bread (3 huge slices) and then smothered in raspberry jam, served with syrup on the side. My partner had "the breakfast" and he said it was good but disappointed in the toast - which was actually just two tiny slices of a baguette. Totally not proportionate to the price he paid or his appetite! The muffin the next day was a raspberry cornmeal one and very very good - served warm fresh from the oven. Neat that it's inside a book store, and with the giant windows letting in all the natural light it was a nice set up.
