Easy Street Records & Café is a funky little corner record shop and eatery in the West Seattle Junction. It is where Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam performed a small concert and a place that locals support. Nothing fancy about the place but you'll find some surprisingly decent food. I'd recommend breakfast with some great bacon. It's rock n' roll with rolls!

First of all, the servers are worth their weight in gold. You rock ladies. The coffee is great, the atmosphere is, of course, second to none if you're into rock 'n roll. And, to top it off, the food is actually pretty freakin fantastic. They know exactly how to do pancakes and bacon---old school diner style. My husband had the Nuevos Rancheros and loved it. Huge bang for your buck here as well. Unbeatable.

Went for lunch on a weekday and it was a "sit anywhere" experience. Service was slow but they did keep to coffee topped up (which was more than I expected) and it is cool to have food in a record shop. It has a very Seattle feel and I would bring others back to do it once.

I love this place - it is in a used record store - what's not to like?? They play great music and you can browse CDs and records while you wait for you table. The wait can be kinda long, but that is kind of expected at prime breakfast time on the weekends in Seattle. The breakfast food is really good - greasy spoon, diner type of breakfast. My only real complaint about this place is that the service is always really slow and really inattentive. I feel bad saying that, because the servers are always very nice and friendly - they just never come back to your table to see if you need anything once you drop off your food. Sometimes they never even bring a refill of coffee - I could probably overlook everything else, but that is the thing that really keeps me from going back. I finish my first cup of coffee before the food shows up and never get another one the entire time I am there. And you can wait a looooong time for your check. If you don't mind the slow/inattentive service, this is a great breakfast spot - cool atmosphere and good food.

It's just a place you should go to, when in Seattle. Yes, it is in West Seattle, which means crossing the bridge, but you will give thanks. You may want to buy me a drink for making this suggestion...to actually go. If you are visiting Seattle, you can grab the C Rapid Bus from downtown right to The Junction...where Easy Street lives. Like...c'mon over and you'll be happy, happy.

It has the cd's, DVD's, vinyl collectables and a very grubby, worn down eatery that is a great place to sit and watch and eat. You have to line-up for seating and sit close to others and the tables look like they are in need of repair...and it all so very wonderful.

Sometimes they have a live band....I mean, really, this place is so worthy of a visit. I got a great used Sting cd for 3 bux.
