Had the Kastoori Curry with lamb and it was among the best Nepalese/ Indian curries I've ever had. The garlic naan and biryani were delicious too. My boyfriend loves and can handle his spicy food, but when he asked for his biryani extra hot and spicy, they definitely delivered and then some. Good price and good location-- close by our hotel and the pike place market. Would visit again when I'm in Seattle.

Fantastic menu covering the range of foods of the region. Appetizers portions are large. Sample. Enjoy!

Food was great. Service was friendly, the bill took some time to arrive but no big deal. We had the Veggie Pakoras, Samosas, Aloo Gobi and Chana Masala - all amazing.
Rustic feel adds to the atmosphere, enjoy!

Don't let the interior fool you when you enter, the quality of the food is far beyond the impression you get when you first sit down. The menu has a mix of Nepalese and Indian foods. The best curry from my experience of eating there now three times is their Kastoori curry which is similar to Butter chicken but not a creamy and a bit of a spicy kick. The breads excellent and I would suggest trying the onion kulcha if one wanted to be more adventurous. It's location on the western end of Stewart St. puts it practically at the Pike Place market and is easy to get there after spending a day at the market.

First visit - loved their food! Tandoori Mixed Grill came on a sizzling pan with generous and perfectly cooked portions of chicken, lamb, salmon and veggies. Shrimp biryani was moist and rich with garlic, herbs, and no doubt some secret ingredients, plus a chunky, tangy raita on the side. We had enough left from our meal for a take home box that warmed up perfectly the next day. Nice variety on the wine list too. Convenient for after work or various downtown venues, including Pike Place Market & Seattle Symphony.
