I read in one of the reviews that the mini coconut pies[?] are good! unfortunately they didn't have it when I went. The granola cup was okay, the donuts were better though but my favorite was the chocochip cookies. I wish I had bought more to bring w/ me to sf

We stayed in downtown Seattle for several days over New Years and the morning we left for the airport, we stopped in for morning coffee and some treats for the plane rides home. The Dahlia bakery fit the bill. We got a nice hot cup of delicious coffee and then had to take some time choosing which of the gorgeous treats we wanted to take home. I selected the flourless coconut cake which was amazing! And I brought home a fig bar for my mother who loves them. It was the biggest fig bar I've ever seen and she loved it. Sadly they were already out of the quince Danish. What does that tell you? That it is fabulous. I love quince and it is an underused fruit in this country. You can also get breakfast and lunch there but other than a couple of small tables outside and 2 very crowded ones inside, it's best to take the food away. Glad I don't live in downtown Seattle. I'd weigh 200 lbs!!!

The pastries and confections here are all outstanding. Our favorite is the mini coconut cream pie. They also make it in a full-size.

We stopped by to try the ultimate peanut butter sandwich cookie. It was great! We stopped at the restaurant and had lunch. We had a flat bread salad with the soup of the day. Chickpea soup. The food was excellent, the service top notch. Very enjoyable
