We recently stayed at The Residence Inn at Lake Union/Seattle, WA. What attracted us to this hotel was the fact that they have two bedroom suites which others say they have but don't. The pictures of the room online also looked as though they have been recently renovated. We were traveling with two children as well. Overall this was a great hotel. They had a very nice complimentary breakfast every day with a nice variety. Three evenings they also had a light dinner, that our children enjoyed. The pool was nice and they have a seperate 3 foot pool for small children. This hotel was probably one of the most pet friendly hotels that I have ever seen. It actually seemed like my family was in the minority with out a pet. My only complaint was that our furniture in our living room (although newer) was very worn especially the chair. And there was a big stain in the middle of our carpet. Also the mattresses were horribly soft. I eventually got semi used to it. The kitchen was very nice and very nice to have a full size frig and microwave to cook some things for our children. Would definitely stay there again. Great location to get to airport, downtown, and suburbs. I did a lot of research on a room for a family of 5 staying for a week and The Residence Inn was definately the best game in town.
