Good clean hotel and close to many famous Seattle attractions. Upon our check-in, we were greeted by very nice and knowledgeable staff who gave us tour maps of the area and coupons to use in the restaurant/lounge attached to the hotel. Only had breakfast, but it was excellent with good friendly staff. Room very nice andclean, comfortable bed. Nice updated furnishings and remodeled rooms. Free internet.Walked to the Space Needle within a few minutes. The only downside to the hotel was the $10 parking fee per night, but most of the parking in downtown Seattle is pretty expensive anyway. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning on doing touristy things in Seattle and who doesn't want to pay for an expensive downtown Seattle hotel.

I have to admit - I stay with Holiday Inn/Express because they are appx 20% cheaper that same class Hilton/Marriott hotels (Garden Inn, etc) and because they offer double miles. Taken away those incentives and I'd always stay at Hilton/Marriott.

This particular hotel in Seattle is nothing extraordinary - you get what you've paid for. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, parking is $10 (show me the same class hotel with free secured parking - I'll stay there next time).

I'd recommend stay here if you are for a business meeting(s) and those are primarily in downtown. However if you need to travel other side of the lake than probably it would be better to find something there. Traffic on ALL roads is a disaster. Avoid I-405 at ALL costs. It took me 45 minutes to travel 12 miles - you've got an idea.

Stayed two nights in Seattle. Neighborhood absolutely ok during the day, at night not so great to go out for a woman. Rooms are well equipped and clean.

The Holiday Inn Seattle is located approximately 6 blocks from the downtown Nordstrom and Belltown, 12 blocks to the market, and 3 blocks to the new Whole Foods and the South Lake Union Streetcar. Like Belltown and Downtown, there are homeless in the area and a lot of construction around. That being said, we walked around during the day and night and never felt unsafe. Our double room with a king bed was clean, large and nicely furnished (and free Wi-Fi and business center). There is an on-site restaurant and reasonable secure parking ($10). For the price paid, the Holiday Inn Seattle gives you a lot of value in this increasingly expensive city..

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Seattle. We found this hotel to be very accommodating and close to many famous Seattle attractions. Upon our check-in, we were greeted by a very nice and knowledgeable staff who gave us tour maps of the area and coupons to use in the restaurant/lounge attached to the hotel (we only had drinks, so I cannot make any recommendations about the food). We went up to our room and found it to be very nice with a clean, comfortable bed. It seems that Holiday Inns have done some re-branding recently, and with that has come updated furnishings and remodeled rooms. We quickly went exploring around the hotel and walked to the Space Needle within 15 minutes (there is a busy street behind the hotel with no way to get across, so you must walk a little out of the way to get to a cross walk). Additionally, we had tickets to a University of Washington football game and the campus was a quick drive from the hotel. We had a short drive to Pike's Market, but we determined that it would have been a pleasant walk to and from the Market if we had not planned on shopping.
