“Great place for a group”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

If we've got a big bunch of folks and want to make a party out of it, this is where we go. It's friendly, fun, and festive. The portions are huge (plan to share), the servers are accommodating, and the prices are fair enough for a nice evening out. And the room is well set up to handle bigger parties easily. Very creative bar: do plan to have cocktails.

The food is heavy comfort food -- which can be a great thing on a cold Northwest evening. One caution, though: they can be pretty heavy-handed with the salt.

Still, if you're looking for a meat-and-potatoes meal with a modern, hip flair, then this is your place.

“Great one day, a little bit less the next. ”
Reviewed November 8, 2013 via mobile

We arrived during the happy hour (between 4-5), sat ourselves and had super prompt service. Had the avocado chicken burger (amazing!) Liked it so much we went back for dinner. Again they were promt to seat us but the server took a while to help us. The menu was super limited and they were heavy with the condiments. Good restaurant but go for the happy hour.

“Delightful Downtown Dining”
Reviewed October 25, 2013 via mobile

Whether you are staying downtown for business or pleasure, you can't go wrong with this dining option. Very cool ambience with an eclectic mix of hand- blown glass and paintings all over. Food is of the "comfort" variety-- but with enough of a hip twist to elevate it above expectations . Our group had the ultimate mac and cheese ( if you are a fan, this does not disappoint ), a risotto and steak special. Everyone was very pleased with their choice. Meal was bracketed with fresh bread with trio of butters before the meal (pesto- the best!, red pepper and sweet corn) and some sort of minty chocolate deliciousness served with the bill at the end. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

“Sat at the bar - ok food”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

I came by the Icon Grill on a business trip to sit and the bar and do some work on my iPad. Good and bad.

Good: No one was around at 4:30pm and I had the whole bar to myself. The wait staff as nice and enough, but you know when you get to a restaurant too early and you get to hear the drama that goes on? That's what I got.

Bad: The food was not that great and the drink specials were that "special".

It's right across from the Westin in Seattle and easy enough to get to if you want to work on something and not be at your hotel.
