This is about the underground tour in seattle washington. To get to the tour, you go down the main street from the bus terminal, to a BOOK STORE DOOR, they will take you under the city and show you how the city is supported and why. There is a hideaway gambling room where the wall actually turns around and you can see all the nostalga of it. They will also tell you about John Crapper the inventor of the first tiolet as we know it today. It's a little musty and damp down under, but a very KOOL TOUR of the city.

I am a fan of on/off bus tours. The brief city history is never comprehensive, but it's helpful and enjoyable. The tour is a great way to get a feel for the city and where things are before venturing out by car or foot. We had a live tour guide on board that provided several great recommendations for food and must-see sights.

This tour took us to visit 2 wineries as well as the beautiful Snoqualmie Falls. It was a small bus and very personalized. The bus picked us up at the hotel. The tour lasted about 6-1/2 hours. We stopped for lunch, which was on our own. It was a good way to see some beautiful scenery outside of Seattle, enjoy wine tasting and visiting the Falls. I recommend this tour as you won't be disappointed.

Tried to book online, couldn't get my tickets when I went to print them off. Had to call and then they told me (after charging me) that the tour for the day was cancelled and wouldn't be offered until several days later (when I wouldn't be in Seattle). Very dissatisfied. Save your money and go take your own tour of "Funky Fremont".

We took two tours with Evergreen this week; one to the San Juan Islands and the other to Mt. Ranier National Park. Both were wonderful experiences. On both trips, our tour guides picked us up at our hotel in a tall, clean Mercedes Van with huge windows. They provided and laid out catered snacks and picnic lunches. On the trip to the San Juan Islands, we rode to a ferry and then took a 45 minute ferry ride over to one of the islands. Our guide Simon was extremely knowledgeable about the islands and especially the nature. We went sea kayaking in the waters around the islands. (not very difficult). Saw seals and eagles. We went to the site of an old Lime Kiln to eat a picnic lunch and saw a literal parade of Orcas swimming within 20 feet of shore where we were eating. Doesn't happen often and was incredible experience for kids. Hiked some trails where Simon discussed history of islands and the nature we were seeing. He was a great guide. On the trip to Ranier we had Darren and Freddy (female) as guides. They were very knowledgeable about the park. The volcano itself was not visible because of clouds and fog but the national park itself is worth the trip. A tremendous diversity of eco-systems. We would highly recommend both tours for families or couples or someone traveling alone.
