Was taking a walk on the waterfront getting some exercise and got hungry. The crabshack was way busy and caught the sourdough sign. I love sourdough so why not. The atmosphere was not impressive but was hungry so time to order. The Italian paninni looked good with some chips. The service seemed a little disjointed. 5 to 6 people behind the counter and no one taking orders. Seemed like we were interupting something to put an order in....once received was a little disappointed with the sourdough. It seemed to be missing the sour part and was definitely a little chewy. This one is kind of mixed as far as reviews. I am a little leary about going back but am not sure that I got the full flavor of the place. Will have to think about this one.

I had the Yukon panini (roast beef) and a Gold Rush cookie (everything) for lunch and found it to be a good lunch at a fair (for Seattle) price.

MY wife and I were walking by the shop and my wife decided to buy a loaf of bread to take home.Three dollars for a small, tasteless loaf of sourdough bread. The surly guy behind the counter also charged sales tax, I questioned that because food(bread) in Washington state is sales tax exempt. The guy said that they always charge sales tax,I would have raised hell about that, but we had to catch the ferry. The guy also quoted prices for cookies that were higher then the posted prices on the sign.Obviously they get away with their actions because most of the potential customers here are tourists from out of area.Don't waste your money here!
