This is a fun little shop in Belltown that is about a ten to 15 minute walk from Pike Place Market. It is a great little shop (about eight tables) with nice ambiance. The real draw is the 200+ flavors of cupcakes (about 12 to 16 flavors on any given day). One of the owners, Tony, was there when we visited and he was great to talk to and spent a lot of time talking with the kids.
Cupcakes tasted: Pancake and bacon (once you get past the name, it is INCREDIBLY GOOD), the New Yorker (very good), Boston Cream (very good), Red Velvet (good), Belgian chocolate (good), Chocolate Lavendar (very good), vanilla chocolate (okay)
Cost: $3.50/large cupcake
Beware the tours, though! This is a popular stop and is on the Savor Seattle tour, which reserves all but two small tables on the weekends. That makes it a bit challenging to get in and out, and if you want to enjoy your cupcakes there you may have to wait to get a seat.
They also hold cupcake decorating classes three times/week. We haven't tried it yet, but definitely plan to do so!
