“Great to find it!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

While we're not huge coffee drinkers, it was fun to visit the Original Starbucks! We stopped in to grab a quick drink and take a few pictures. They also take the Starbucks gift cards! (I wasn't sure because it was kind of a specialty store.) It was packed with people and a little overwhelming, but the staff were great and kept the crowd moving quickly.

“Long crazy line-up”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

We intended to visit the Original Starbucks for some souvenirs and apparently they have a special Starbucks Original 1912 Pike Street Starbucks card only available there? But there was a line-up of an hour or more just to get in (and we couldn't even try to peer in the window through the crowds!) This was Saturday morning July 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. So... disappointed we couldn't check it out.

“What a blast!”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

As a Starbuck's lover, this was a must. The line wasn't too bad, and our drinks tasted great. I loved my cappuccino! Maybe it was a little in my head, but it tasted better than that served at my local Starbucks. Loaded up on some goods as well, lots of mugs and such for sale. Good selection! Really a great experience!!!

-great and helpful staff.

-great coffee, though I don't really need to say that.

Cons:

“Starbucks - a piece of Americana”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

While in Seattle, a visit to the Public Market is a must. During your visit, don't miss the first Starbucks coffee shop. Be prepared for a wait to be served, but you can enjoy just being in the crowd of this historic location. Can you imagine life without Starbucks?
