“What a blast!”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

As a Starbuck's lover, this was a must. The line wasn't too bad, and our drinks tasted great. I loved my cappuccino! Maybe it was a little in my head, but it tasted better than that served at my local Starbucks. Loaded up on some goods as well, lots of mugs and such for sale. Good selection! Really a great experience!!!

-great coffee, though I don't really need to say that.

Cons:

“Starbucks - a piece of Americana”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

While in Seattle, a visit to the Public Market is a must. During your visit, don't miss the first Starbucks coffee shop. Be prepared for a wait to be served, but you can enjoy just being in the crowd of this historic location. Can you imagine life without Starbucks?

“Not worth the wait.”
Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

Long line. Peek through the window. Not worth the wait! Coffee shop on every corner. Sooooo many people! I felt like a salmon, not just at the Starbucks but all around Pike Place. Good experience to see that area but once is enough. Still glad to have seen it though. Would not repeat.

“Had to do it once - but when the lines are short”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

First off, make sure you pick the proper time to visit. Failure to plan would make you wait in hour long lines. It seems it was pretty quiet between 2-4pm. As long as the line is short it is a great experience for Starbucks lovers. They do have special merchandise which seems to be the biggest draw. The store employees know how to keep a line moving which is that best part. My Barista Jeff was really personable and made my trip. If you really care about only seeing the outside you should go to the Starbucks right across the street where there is no line. When you visit make sure to look above the door frame to see the pig "Pork and Beans". He was part of an art fundraiser for the Pike Place Market.
