We met some freinds at 5:30 to take advantage of a happy hour menu. Big slection of local beers for $4, 1$ off. Only 4 or 5 food items (which seemed skimpy). Ceasar was decent @5$ (vs 6), other choices starchy. I ordered a $9 burger off reg. menu and added blue cheese for $2 more. nothing comes with this burger, which was very good, and had caramelized onions on top. No chips, no fries. Yes a few thin pickle slices were on the plate. Again the burger tasted great, and my blue cheese, tho maybe not worth $2, was excellent. But at least the wait person should have said these are just burgers. Friend had a crab and cheese sandwich of $13 which resembled a toasted cheese. We all felt food too expensive, by maybe $2 or $3 eah plate.
The ambiance is a very nice dark wood PUB and easy to visit. Our server almost OVER served us, checking again and again.
