The Maxwell Hotel is a perfect choice when staying in Downtown Seattle on a budget. All the employees in the Hotel were extra nice and helpful with providing information on things to do in Seattle. My room was extra clean and the bathroom was roomy for more than two people to get dressed, and there was a DVD player in the room an extra little bonus. This hotel thought of everything from a umbrella in the room for the rainey days to bikes in the lobby (free) to get around can't beat that.

Room Tip: I enjoyed the king bed and the room facing the Space Needle (Room 344)

We had no complaints at all about the Maxwell, the rooms and lobby were lovely and the staff was very helpful and courteous. They even stored our luggage after check-out as our train was not till late afternoon and we wanted to continute to sightsee. There is much to do in the immediate area! Don't skip the Chihuly Glass exhibit, it's truly beautiful and memorable. The staff person who usually drives the shuttle was off the day of our visit so the manager himself drove us to the train station, no charge! The pineapple cupcakes were free too and a small but special treat. Definitely would go again.

Room Tip: I couldn't unclick spa and breakfast because I didn't have/use either amenity.

Was impressed by this hotel, a few blocks north of the Space Needle. Friendly staff, clean rooms, stylish decor, good value for the money. On-site parking included in cost of room. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Seattle.

Staying anywhere in the downtown core of Seattle is going to cost you substantially more than hotels outside the core, but we really enjoyed the room and stay at the Maxwell. Clean and comfortable. It's a short trip out the door to a lot of the tourist places you want to visit in Seattle. It's a few blocks to a 24h market also.

We loved this hotel! The most unpretentious hotel we ever stayed in. A great value. Nice spacious room with a different decor. Great Tommy Bahama amenities. Maids around every corner. Very clean. . Great front desk staff and a shuttle service to give a ride to the train or downtown. Located in a hip neighborhood with a great Asian veg restaurant down the block. Nice to feel thirty years younger.
