“Speedy Service, Great Food”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

Went to Toulouse Petite for weekend brunch. Even though the place was packed, we were seated within 15 minutes. Service was great, especially considering it was so busy, and so was the food. Can't wait to try "Seattle's Best Happy Hour" next time!

“Delicious Lunch, Nice Atmosphere”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

We read good things about this restaurant on Tripadvisor, so we went for a Valentine's Day lunch. It was walkable for us, as we were staying in the Queen Anne district. Lunchtime was mostly business people and there was a very short wait. We sat at a really nice booth and had a good view of the rest of the restaurant. It's beautifully decorated and has a good feeling to it. We ordered the special pasta with Braised Lamb Ragu and the Blackened Pacific Yellow Eye Snapper with a Creole Crawfish-Tasso sauce. Both were excellent and done to perfection. We kind of went crazy on the desserts since we had no appetizers, and had Molten Chocolate Cake, Bananas Foster, and Beignets. The chocolate cake was average and not at all warm, but the bananas foster and beignets were delicious. Definitely a return trip when in Seattle again.

“Take what reservation you can get”
Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

We got in at 9 pm. A bit late for my liking, but definitely worth it. Contemporary atmosphere. Couples out for Seattle night life. Seated pretty soon after our reservation time. Of course, went for a Washington red wine. A little too warm (not cellar temp) but they solved it without excuse. Served by Ivy who was extremely knowledgable about the extensive wine list and menu. We decided on the $39 fixed 3 course dinner. I left my main course for her to surprise me with. I had the filet with mushrooms which was cooked to perfection and delicious. Chris attended our table every once in a while making sure all was well and provided a free desert for the birthday girl. Definately a resteraunt to experience and enjoy.

“French and Creole in Seattle”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

Toulouse Petit has so much character. It's kind of loud, spirited and has a big friendly atmosphere, highly decorated in bold color washes and wrought iron. The large and interesting menu has food you'd find in New Orleans and other places in the South, but with an updated touch. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes topped with a heap of Dungeness Crab salad. My husband loved his oyster Po-boy. It also has French dishes, and breakfast.
A great bar with inventive cocktails. The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is nice, the prices aren't bad either. I would go there anytime I'm in the Queen Anne neighborhood.

“Loud New Orleans”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

Made a reservation for dinner at Toulouse, as looking for something different. The menu is vast, and portions are generous, fortunately we shared a starter, otherwise could not finish. The restaurant is loud, the service was a little erratic. Worth a visit if you are in the area, and want some Cajun style cooking.
