Description: Centered around the cuisine, decor and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans and creating the feel of the Big Easy, Toulouse is one of the most intricate and ambitiously built restaurants in a generation. Our expansive menus offer culinary diversity and range from traditional Creole and French Quarter menu choices to traditional Parisian and French countryside preparations to more innovative dishes that are entirely unique to Toulouse. At Toulouse we are tremendously committed to offering value in all of its various forms, which includes our intricate and texturally rich decor, cuisine prepared with discipline and skill, fabulous cocktails, a diverse Northwest and French centered wine list, unrepeatable and unique people, and accessible prices in an adult escapist and community environment.

Great food with great service in a beautiful setting. We were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. This was our first visit to the Queen Anne district and we we'll definately go back to do more exploring. I tried the fennel braised pork with house made ricotta gnocchi. Wonderful! This place is a definate must!

Serves cajun style good. It has a very extensive brunch menu. We had a wonderful brunch at on a monday morning - Oyster and Bacon Benedict (it works) was definitely bringing me back. Everything we had taste good. Service was good.

We went in December, made reservations (of course). However we came to the realization that even though we've come to Toulouse many times, it's changing. We're noticing more shortcuts (thus sacrificing the quality). The octopus was chewy and seems gets spicier with each visit. NOLA salad was such a disappointment (and clearly tasted not fresh) that we even had to return this dish (very abnormal for a restaurant of this level, and abnormal for us to ever do this). Cocktails were ok (though felt deluded), but not like they used to be when we originally started coming to this place. In general we have more mixed feelings with each visit lately. Hopefully they pick up the slack because it used to be one of our favorite places in Seattle (now we're hesitant).

I've been to Toulouse at least 6 times now and every time is the best. It would take many more visits to try every item I'm interested in on the vast menu, but now it will be tough to pass up the Jumbo Barbequed Shimp New Orleans over cheesy grits forever more - my idea of a perfect dish. I've had several items, including the grits and the beignets, that are better than any I've had in New Orleans, and the cocktails are excellent too. It can be loud, at times there's a long wait, and once in awhile the service leaves a little bit to be desired, but the ambiance and high quality more than make up for it. Don't miss a chance to eat here!

Toulouse Petit is small, so get there early for brunch on the weekends. If over 21, sitting at the long table in the bar area can be convivial. We had beignets with a coffee creme anglais, the best eggs benedict I've ever tasted with kurobuta ham (there are many other benedicts to choose from), smoked salmon omelette, and the breakfast potatoes were amazing. They have interesting brunch cocktails - no boring Mimosa's here. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Seattle.
