Description: Centered around the cuisine, decor and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans and creating the feel of the Big Easy, Toulouse is one of the most intricate and ambitiously built restaurants in a generation. Our expansive menus offer culinary diversity and range from traditional Creole and French Quarter menu choices to traditional Parisian and French countryside preparations to more innovative dishes that are entirely unique to Toulouse. At Toulouse we are tremendously committed to offering value in all of its various forms, which includes our intricate and texturally rich decor, cuisine prepared with discipline and skill, fabulous cocktails, a diverse Northwest and French centered wine list, unrepeatable and unique people, and accessible prices in an adult escapist and community environment.

We walked here from our hotel (Maxwell Hotel also highly recommend) and we were pleased with our food, our service, and the atmosphere was friendly and easy. My daughter and I enjoyed our entire weekend in Seattle and this restaurant was one of the highlights.

“Excellent Food with Exceptional Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2012

Breakfast on a Friday morning at Toulouse Petit on Queen Anne in Seattle was a surprising treat. After searching online for some place special to go before the Nutcracker Ballet, we decided upon this place. The reviews were mixed so we thought it was worth trying it on our own.

Parking is at a premium, at least for street parking, so we went around the block behind the Toulouse Petit and found 2 hour parking for $2 in a parking lot. We walked in to the restaurant and were immediately greeted by friendly staff and a very chic restaurant. It was a short wait until we were seated however those who came in after us were told it would be a 15 minute wait.

The place has great light from all the windows and, while it's a little on the noisy side, it wasn't overwhelmingly so. We had 2 young boys with us so were not sure about the menu but they had pancakes on their breakfast menu so the boys were happy. They do have coloring sheets for kids but no kids menu.

One of us had a wonderful Creme Caramel French toast that was divine. Another of us had a scramble with andouille sausage which was also very good and the other of us had eggs benedict which were also very good. We ordered a small order of Beignets which came covered with powdered sugar and a coffee flavored dipping butter.

The best part is that weekdays they have a "happy hour" breakfast until 11 where many of the entrees are $8. Normal prices for breakfast are $7-$17.

Great value with the happy hour breakfast, great food, and a great place for the whole family for breakfast.

French toast to jambalaya, it was all very flavorful! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all are specifically unique.

“Toulouse Petit has great Cajun and Creole flavors.”

The vanilla bread pudding and beignets are great, and I will vouch for the jambalaya, which was well prepared. The service here is friendly and the atmosphere decidedly contemporary.

“GOOD Surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

We were visiting Seattle and staying a few blocks away and walked in to have dinner. We did not know it was one of Seattle's highly rated restaurants, but were glad we selected it for dinner. Great old building with beautiful windows and lots of old Seattle charm. The service was very good and food delicious. If you are in this part of the Queen Anne area of Seattle, I would certainly eat here. It is very close to the Space Needle and the Seattle Center and an easy walk for a great dinner.
