Description: Centered around the cuisine, decor and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans and creating the feel of the Big Easy, Toulouse is one of the most intricate and ambitiously built restaurants in a generation. Our expansive menus offer culinary diversity and range from traditional Creole and French Quarter menu choices to traditional Parisian and French countryside preparations to more innovative dishes that are entirely unique to Toulouse. At Toulouse we are tremendously committed to offering value in all of its various forms, which includes our intricate and texturally rich decor, cuisine prepared with discipline and skill, fabulous cocktails, a diverse Northwest and French centered wine list, unrepeatable and unique people, and accessible prices in an adult escapist and community environment.

Working right around the corner, we end up at Toulouse pretty often, there really is nothing like it and its certianly one of the better places when it comes to well prepared, nicely seasoned, great tasting and interesting food !!

It gets crowded, so we try to sneak in before the rushes which for us are primarily Lunch and Happy Hour. :-)

This place is a bit hard to find, even though it's on a corner of two busy streets. Four of us ate their and the food was very good. Service was prompt, we were seated per our reservation time. Wide variety and interesting choices on the menu. Heavy influences from the South (especially Louisiana), but a wide variety of other, perhaps even more interesting entrees and appetizers. Decent wine list with wide variety. Typical Seattle noisy restaurant, but very lively for a Sunday evening. Very satisfied and will return.

This is a fabulous place. Candles everywhere, great food and atmosphere. We went twice and both times I ordered the Filet which just melted in my mouth. I hope to try other food on the menu but I just couldn't get the thought of that juicy filet out of my mind. If your looking for a restaurant that makes you feel good about choice this is it and a bonus you get a view of the Space Needle is you get a seat near the window! Yes I will eat at Toulouse Petit when I visit Seattle again!

Toulouse Petit is located at the corner of Queen Anne and Mercer and is a really popular place for breakfast. We had the Dungeness Crab and Asparagus Scramble and the Creme Caramel French Toast. Wow!! Every bite full of the scramble had fresh crab in it and was accompanied by Toulouse Breakfast Potatoes. The French Toast was made from two thick wedges of brioche drizzled with pear caramel, surrounded by strawberries and dusted with powdered sugar. Fresh coffee is served in French Press pots. Service was Johnny-on-the-spot, and all of the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Toulouse has a Breakfast Happy Hour where every breakfast item is $8.00 Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We'll be back to try the Beignets!
