I recently attended the second night of the symphony's 2 night 4 Rachmaninov piano concerti. The #4 was played first featuring a young Russian pianist, Denis Kozukhin followed by the #3 after the intermission. Nothing can follow the #3 so that's why they were done out of order. The Chinese pianist, Di Wu was all arms and contortions wringing as much sound out of the Steinway and Sons as she could. Amazing performance by both pianists and a revitalized Seattle Symphony under the exciting direction of Ludovic Morlot.

My wife enjoyed it. My daughter and I were bored. The sets were fantastic and the musicians were really good.

Concert was superb. Rachmaninov No.2 and Beethoven's 9th. All around a fantastic experience! No bad seats in the house. We had a box on the 2nd tier. Great atmosphere!

Not always an exciting season but excellent musicians and good selection of soloists. Benaroya Hall has good seats everywhere.

The world class Symphony plays in one of the most beautiful Halls in the world. This institution is supported by the community and is recognized by all as a talented and flexible musical treasure.
