We met up with some friends who live nearby. Our little ones played on the playground and then we walked over to the lake and watched some people fishing. After some good playing, we then walked over to a great Mexican restaurant only a couple of blocks away for a delicious dinner.

One of my favorite places in Seattle during the summer as you can run, kayak or simply people watch. It is centrally located around some of Seattle's most popular neighborhoods which means you have plenty of food options around you!

A lovely little park to walk around but only if you don't mind dodging or having other people dodge you as they run around pushing prams or leading dogs. A peaceful place for a stroll it is not during daytime hours! That said, find a quiet corner and sit on one of the many benches, and on a warm late summer day it's a good place to be.
