I love Greenlake Park! Its not too difficult to walk all the around the lake and its great exercise. It is paved the whole way with two lanes; one for pedestrians and the other for those on wheels. There are many various types of dogs on leashes, people on roller skates and every type of person passing by. In season one can view turtles sunning, baby ducklings, Canadian geese, fish and loons. There are plenty of benches on which to rest and restrooms along the way. Not in the least bit boring!

This place has something to do for everybody. It has children's park, trails for biking and running, water sports etc. We live in eastside and never got chance to visit this area but after coming here I discovered what we've missed. Calm relaxing place for evening troll in summers.

I love Green lake. It offers natural beauty in a lovely Seattle setting. From paddle boats, kayaking, row boats, paddle boarding ... Children's wading pool, lake swimming, areas for volleyball, frisbee or just enjoy the beautiful walk/jog around the lake. People bike, rollerblade, fish and it is dog friendly. Very busy on the weekends and early evening. If you want less people recommend early morning. Recommend any time of the year. There are also plenty of shops around the lake to keep you busy.

Very first condition to be there is that the weather needs to be sunny if u r really a suzy sunny.
Its a trail along with the round lake which attracts you running, skating, cycling or just walking.
It has big cultural community space where you could play relax and do any events etc.. A big playground really add to its value since you can just spread your arms wide playing anything. I preferred jumping running to shirt distance and laughing aloud, and yes also playing flying plate. I saw people playing baseball, running with kids, chess soccer and many more.
Most part I enjoyed their is having lunch with my group of friends. Yes we took our lunch with 10-15 members and sat at lake view place and had lunch together giggling and talking over family issues and discussing how much fun it is to be together. My daughter especially enjoyed a small pool of water which is just 1/2 a feet deep and really it was soothing to sit there watching my daughter playing and enjoying splash in water.
Boating- yes u have the option to do kayaking, boating, paddle boating etc. I took 2 seater boater $18 for an hour and it was fun.

Its worth going and enjoying a beautiful day with family, friends, loved ones or whoever.

If you are tired and just want a nice day in the park, this is your spot. Grab or sandwich or eat at one of the restaurants on the rim of the park. There is path around the lake you can walk, rollerskate, or bike. The grass is iffy sometimes because of the duck poop but there is plenty of grassy areas. There is a wading pool and play area for kids. You can rent paddle boats too. It is a relaxing place but parking can be arduous at times.
