A great place for a long walk with your sweetie. Be prepared for a good hour or more if you walk slowly. You can grab a Starbucks coffee from the coffee place along the route.

I love going around Green Lake and there's nothing that beats Green Lake when the weather's nice, but be warned - everyone in Seattle will be at Green Lake if it gets sunny and warm. Parking can be a bit of a crap shoot. As long as you're prepared for street parking and the possibility for a bit of walking, then you'll be a.o.k.

Took our dogs here a couple of times for walks, about 3 miles around the lake but very pleasant....find people in Seattle to be not the most friendly, so don't expect any smiles or nods...not even from fellow dog owners.

A find urban park, tons of things to do. Walk around the lake on a nice day, enjoy the people and their pets. Can be quite crowded on weekends, not the best place if you want a quiet jaunt with you lab. Lots of good food and drink across the street, parking can be a challenge.

Beautiful lake with interesting surroundings--docks for fishing and swimming, boat rentals, a theatre, a splash fountain in the summer, tennis courts, golf course, great pizza/coffee/fish and chips nearby. It's great for peoplewatching (and puppywatching) too! One Saturday, I saw a group of twelve men or so run by in tighty whities. You won't see that on your gym treadmill.
