“Great way to lose a day”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

Great way to see a microcasm of Seattle in a day. Site of the Space Needle, the EMP, Pacific Science Museum and the Armory. The way we were there the Hawaiian Festival was in the park so bonus. We saw hula dancers, bands and Hawaiian crafts and food. All in walking distance. Monorail ride shoots yo from a few blocks from Pike Street Market to here in a couple of minutes. What's not to love?

“Day tripping at Seattle Center”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

A great day or weekend can be found at Seattle Center. So much to do. Arrive on monorail and
be ready to walk. See local art work, catch a festival (almost every weekend) Visit the Science Center, EMP or Ballet . Each venue has something that you and your family will enjoy and remember. My favorite is the candy shoppe. Small children need a towel and change of clothes or bathing suit. Bring a picnic lunch and save your money for a treat inside the center's food court.

“a great place to spend the day”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

lots to do here for little cost but also worth the spend on some of the attractions - the monorail is great fun and a good way to arrive - 'this is brilliant' was my 3 year olds unprompted view of his ride. The musical fountains helped cool them down on a hot summer day and a lovely food court provided a good choice when they got hungry. The trip up the space needle was also well received and we could have stayed longer - it was a very sunny and clear day and the views were amazing -we were lucky though so great views of the distance not always guaranteed

“Prepare to spend the day”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

Lots to do and see, be prepared to do a lot of walking, if you want to dine at the Space needle, make your reservations early, the tourist season is very crowded. Suggest you catch the monorail to enter, parking is limited.

“Good Stop on Seattle Walking Tour”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

This was a fun area. The space needle of course was good, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the awesome fountain. Watched it a long time. There is a food court between it and the space needle. You can also catch the monorail here to go back downtown. Good musicians in the area as well as the Science center.
