I was here in June and unfortunately couldn't see Mt. Rainier due to construction. But the view is fantastic and they have some interesting information/exhibit type displays. Definitely a great alternative to the Space Needle!!!

Spectacular views! Definitely the highest building around - and cheaper than the space needle. Great information boards everywhere and even chairs, food and coffee if you want to just sit and relax. Bring your camera. Enter thru the 5th Ave doors. We wanted to stop at the Starbucks on the 40th floor, but were running late. But I bet it's the best on around.

Great almost 360 views and higher (73rd floor) than space needle also cheaper (12.50 adults). I would recommend going at dusk great day and night perspective.

What a view! We came into Seattle on a cruise ship, so of course, we went up to see the cruise ship docked, and right across the bay to the snow camp mountains, mount olympus [not the Greek one!] then looking down at highway 90 and all the people rushing about, looking down all the streets, and across to The Space Needle [not so high], and all around.

It's virtually 360 degrees, and was virtually empty when we were there. There's a Starbucks just down stairs... and we just had a great time seeing all of Seattle and the beautiful country beyond!

And not nearly as crowded, or expensive! Amazing views of the city, the mountains, the Sound, and the Space Needle! The recent renovation makes it even better as there is so much information about the city, no matter what direction you face. I've been here three times and for my most recent trip, I spent a couple of hours up there. The view is amazing, there are lots of comfortable seating areas, and there's even a place to buy snacks/refreshments. There's also a Starbucks in the Columbia Tower halfway up, so if you're in the mood for something familiar, stop there on the way and plan to stay awhile! Worth it at regular price, but they also offer senior and military discounts.
