“view from the top”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

With a living_social coupon as an incentive, the Sky View observation tour seemed like a good idea. The building has one of the highest viewpoints in the NW: 76 stories tall (although the Sky View observatory is on the 73rd floor), reaching over 1000' , high above other buildings, looking down on the miniscule Space Needle from that height. This viewpoint provides a good perspective point for seeing the spread of the city and the surrounding waterways: the only other way to see this view over the city is from an airplane.

“Nice alternative to the Space needle”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

We couldn't check into our hotel until 4 so the desk clerk recommended the Skyview which was only a few blocks from the hotel. It was a great introduction to Seattle - even saw Mt. Rainier looming in the background. No need to go up the Space Needle. There are lots of restaurants in the building as well. The $6 fee us for students or seniors; regular adult fare is $9. My only regret is that we didn't do this on a Friday or Saturday when we could come back at night. It closes at 6pm other days.

“Stunning view of Seattle”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

It is a little expensive to visit, but the view from the top makes it all worthwhile. On a clear sunny day like we had, the view was fantastic.

“Bird's Eye View”

Beautiful building, only $6 to get a great panoramic view of Seattle, Mount Rainier, the Space Needle, the islands and mountains surrounding Seattle. Great Choice, not crowded.

“Quiet”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

The view from here is beautiful. Plus you can stop to get a coffee from the Starbucks on the 40th floor before venturing up! Because of the studio / office on the same level it is very quiet - but that just adds to the enjoyment of the view. Nice to sit and reflect.
