“Not worth the time or money”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

The displays were old and in disrepair. The staff was unfriendly, and it was a small place. If your child is over 3 years old, it's really not worth the money.

“Unfriendly staff”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

We visited for a few hours with 9 year old, 11 year old and 12 year old. Granted the museum is geared towards much younger kids, but the staff overreacted to kids being kids. They require adults to be right next to kids even when the kids are fully occupied building and being creative in a quiet, non-disruptive activities. We have been to children's museums across the country and have never seen such staff reactions. Also, some of the exhibits are not working and others are in need of repair. The international sections with views into the daily lives of those in Japan, India and other countries was very well done. it is also expensive!

“good for 6 and under crowd”
Reviewed August 3, 2012

We went there a lot when our kids were little, good for 6 and below. there are several places where kids can play with plastic food, which my kids always loved - a Mexican Restaurant and a grocery store. They loved serving us. It's been several years though and might have been updated.

“great museum for kids 10 and under”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

my kids are 7 and 9 and we had another 10 year old friend with us. They had a great time. I wish we had a place like this near us when the kids were littler. great for a rainy day. lots of hands on activities and your kids can run around and play.
