Beautiful place to walk and get some fresh air.... Magnolias and cherries in bloom- so picturesque and lovely. And it's free... and a nice gift shop too!

Walking trails and paved biking trails make this a nice option to see some of the large trees and the flowering trees of the Seattle area. No charge! Good eating options nearby on Madison Ave.

It's a great place to walk on a nice day, but without flowers or flowering shrubs, boring. Although the signs say all dogs needed to be on a leash, none were inside the park. No one enforces thd rule I guess. The Japanese Gardens were closed, too. Sigh.

The Arboretum is always worth a visit. But now that spring has arrived the park is even more enjoyable. They finished a major renovation project last year so if you have not been recently now would be a great time to visit.

Easily accessed, eco friendly design of multiple small parking lots, well marked and maintained trails and areas, awesome layout, inviting nooks in which to read/study/picnic/meditate, nicely connected to sports areas (baseball, kayaking, jungle gym, gift shop...) to meet all the family's needs. Also, Master gardeners present to answer your questions. The Japanese gardens are closed until April 1st so plan on returning then to take those in. Also, next visit I want to try the one hour tram ride around the park. Two suggestions that I would offer: (1) more bathrooms at information center and along the trails, (2) dedicating at least one trail without dogs and dog walkers.
