“Beautiful Place”
Reviewed June 11, 2013 via mobile

I recently travelled to Seattle and really enjoyed my time spent in Discovery Park. The trails are excellent and it's not overcrowded. I did the trail to the North Beach, which is a great place to sit and relax with a wonderful view as well.

“Amazing find barely off the beaten path”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

Wandered through Discovery Park and spent a lovely few hours walking/hiking the trails that go through the woods and end up at the beach. South Beach has an old lighthouse that is 'out of commission', and across the water is a glorious view of Mt. Rainier--if you are lucky enough to catch it on a sunny day.

“Awesome park in the city”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

Great park that is easily accessible by bus. Has a 3 mile loop around the park including a nice walk on the beach. Good idea if you have some extra time and want to get out and experience nature.

“Lots of variety”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

Kids love this park. There are lots of trails through the woods or down to the water. Good spot for eagle watching, too.
