I like to visit seasonally, especially after a long walk through the adjacent Washington Park Arboretum.. you can walk all the way to Lake Washington on the interior road.

An amazing garden. It is a great spot to Zen and enjoy the beauty. The greens are pruned beautifully.

Beautiful spot for spring blooms, koi, frogs, beautiful grounds, and a Japanese Tea House from our Sister City.

The fall color from all the maples can be extraordinary in September and October. Azaleas and other flowers in the spring (April and May especially) are special as well. Garden is closed in winter.

Lovely, well-tended/manicured gardens. If you are able, try to get tickets to the summer solstice event: paper lanterns adrift in the pond. Spring is absolutely spectacular.
