Lovely rare plant selection in all the rooms. Sculpture set in the
large room. This fine conservatory is 200 yars from the Asian Arts Museum, still the top museum in Seattle.

One rainy day during our vacation in Seattle we stopped into the Volunteer Park Conservatory. Our only complaint was the electronic payment machine ate our money and didn't offer us an apology! However, we recognized that even if it swallowed a couple of bucks, the money would probably go for continuing to support the operations of the conservatory! The building itself is a classic structure and the flowers and the displays of glass blown flowers are an added treat. It's a very peaceful place and at least when we were there, it wasn't crowded and definitely worth a visit as a tourist but I'm sure it's especially popular for the residents in the neighborhood

The gorgeous skyline of Seattle can be seen from the park. I was absolutely stunned by the view. Seattle really is a truly beautiful city. It’s also great that in the park there are plenty of benches in order for you to sit down after climbs and whatnot. Although $6 for entry does seem a little high, I understand why they need that much in order to preserve the park and help run it. There were some beautiful displays and a very intriguing urban park designed by the same person that designed central Park in New York City. There are some very interesting colors spread around it is overall a fantastic place to go and not to mention it is extremely beautiful. I was very impressed and I would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting Seattle.

In any weather, but especially on a dark day, the Conservatory is a warm and lovely spot of green And when the tropical blossoms scent the air---ooh la la.
