The conservatory in Volunteer park is a small gem. It is crammed full of exotic plants and orchids, succulents and mosses. but it is a true victorian conservatory thus very lovely. The nicest part is after you walk thru it be sure to then walk down towards the museum and see Noguchis black Sun Sculpture in front. It is a huge polished black granite donut carved by Isamu Noguchi one of the worlds greatest artists like Picasso and indeed he worked at the same time as Picasso and knew him. We are very lucky to have this sculpture as it is one of his best works.
