We took a 3.5 hour tour with Kurt and had a great time. He picked us up at Pier 91 after our inside passage Alaska cruise. Our grandchildren (ages 8,9, and 12) enjoyed every local site, especially the salmon ladders on the Lake Washington canal. Kurt gave us great info about taking the ferry to Winslow and playing in the snow in Paradise valley, which we did. Thank you Kurt.

Whilst in Seattle in May we did the above tour. Booking and paying for it on line before we left home was easy and the pickup and drop off at our hotel was as scheduled. Our tour guides / drivers, Jeff on day one and Dan on day two were knowledgeable and experienced. The morning teas and lunches were great including the wine for those who wanted it. Although on this trip the weather didnt allow us to see either Mt Rainier or Mt St Helens the visits to the various Visitor and Information centres provided all the info, brochures and Ranger talks including video screenings needed to give us a great understanding and picture of both mountains and their history. The overnight stop at the Murano Hotel in Tacoma was great and far better than we expected. All in all a great two day experience which we highly recommend to anyone planning a visit to the area.
Thanks EverGreen Escapes.

We had an excellent experience on the Kayak Tour in the San Juan Islands this past weekend. Tyler was our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable on the local flora and fauna. His passion for bird watching was contagious and I learned many interesting facts that helped me understand birding in a new way. He also committed to helping us see Orca whales. They were pretty far off but I can now say I've seen an Orca. :) The weather was overcast but it didn't impact our enjoyment of the day.

The drive north was relaxing and the time on the water was delightful. San Juan Island is an amazing destination and a great way to get away and "escape the everyday".

We stayed at the Friday Harbor House as part of the package. It was a quaint property and offered a very filling complimentary breakfast. My only suggestion when booking is to have Evergreen Escapes request a view room. It appeared that most rooms had some sort of view, but ours looked onto a roof which was a bit disappointing. I didn't think to ask about this when booking the room.

To end the trip we took a Kenmore Air float plane and loved it. The view and experience were fabulous. It was a great way to see the area and enjoy the beautiful landscape and Seattle neighborhoods.
