Easy walk from the Westin, sat at the bar. Qucik and efficient service, but the ahi was very fresh and wonderful! Nice place, but felt comforatable coming in as a casual.

I made a reservation at this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday and it did not disappoint! As soon as we walked in, the staff greated us by our name and wished my boyfriend a happy birthday, making it feel personal. Everything on the menu looked promising and they had a great selection of wine by the glass. We opted for oysters as an appetizer and grilled swordfish and truffled seared scallops for entrees. The swordfish was amazing with really nice flavors. The scallops did not have much of a sear on them, and when I pointed it out to the waiter, he brought us another order of scallops, and this time they were really good. It is of note that the restaurant did not charge us for the scallops, which I think is great customer service. We had no room left for dessert but the waiter brought us a box of truffle chocolates to go since it was for a birthday, a nice touch again. Overall we were really impressed with this restaurant and with the service we received and would highly recommend to anybody visiting the city and wanting to experience a taste of the Pacific.

Eclectic mix of varied seafood in cooked and sushi form. I enjoyed the salmon. Associates who joined me enjoyed the Mahi Mahi and the Ahi Tuna. Caesar salad was nothing to write home about. The dressing was not great. Breads were OK but a little too crusty (from a guy who loves crusty bread). Attractive atmosphere. Not too noisy. Good for a business crowd. Would come again next time I am in town.

We arrived in Seattle to see friends --they had reserved a seafood restaurant, per our request, & chose Seastar especially for the ability to actually carry on a conversation! It did not disappoint! We selected a bottle of wine from an impressive list that included many moderately priced options. Our sushi appetizers were very good and the smoked salmon deviled eggs were extraordinary. Entrees were good - my friend & I split a Lobster Mac Cheese - definitely the way to go as it would be too much (too rich) for 1 person. Highly recommend this wonderful downtown restaurant located in the Pan Pacific Hotel. Valet available and most welcomed.

The wait staff were excellent and the scallops were delicious. Our waiter encouraged us to try different items and didn't lead us astray. We enjoyed the decor, the helpful staff, the food and the entire evening.
