Great location- blocks from baseball & football stadiums - walking distance to ferries - 5 to 10 minuets Uber ride to space needle and pikes market. Danielle was the rep who handled our reservation- she was awesome. Made arrangements to store our luggage after checkout because we had a late flight. Arranged to return my wife’s watch which she accidentally left in the apartment
To start, the photos are accurate but really do it no justice: roomy with lots of sun (when there is sun LOL), aircon (yes, warm enough to use), a large functional deck and a better stocked kitchen than expected (e.g., cooking oil was a nice surprise; minor downer, no dishwasher soap); and even though we didn't use it, an in-suite washer/ dryer (w/laundry soap) was a very nice surprise.
Comments from prior reviews: someone noted the condo was a bit on the dirty side - Not in our experience (6 nights starting July 16th). Someone else noted the bed is uncomfortable - All depends on what you're use to: Futon? Perfect (albeit, a little low to the floor). Sleep Number? You'll be disappointed.
Oh that reminds us, an extra blanket would be great!
Here are a few things that didn't bother us, but one or all will surely bother someone: building is hard to find, especially at night (albeit, William gets a big TY for being patient with directions); deck is street level with a freeway off ramp (we're used to freeway noise); there's a major public works project outside the front door (street's torn up for several blocks, but we never heard construction noise); and anyone not used to walking through a so-so neighborhood at night in a large city could be bothered by a 4 block gap between the condo and covered parking (extra cost but worth it).
All these specifics aside, we'll definitely book this property again.
I was astonished to find this to be more than just a hotel room, but rather, an excellent one bedroom apartment. It was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The video service offered Netflix (but I had to use my own account to get access.) My unit had a nice view to the west over Puget Sound. The only detracting aspect was that it's not located in the best part of town, and there were some homeless people in its vicinity. The price was great, though, and I'll try to stay here the next time I visit Seattle.
