“Ignore street people for fresh roasted coffee”
Reviewed September 18, 2013 via mobile

Good coffee alternative to Starbucks at Pike St Market. They roast coffee in the back and promise to brew only coffee roasted in the past 7 days. The outside is a little scuzzy with street people sleeping on the sidewalk next door but not right in front. And if you show up after 10am, the sleeping street people are gone.

The baristas know what they are doing and the coffee i jad was great.

“Buy your beans here”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

I wish I had time to sit & have a cup but I came in to buy some beans to take home. After researching, I knew this was the place to buy beans in Seattle. They roast daily. I found a coffee here that tastes like nothing I've ever had before. It's a Guatemalan and it almost tastes like there has been sweetener added to it after brewing. Extremely unique. I really wanted to stay & do the slow bar tasting but we didn't have much time.

“Best ever”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

Best ever mocha and capp. Lovingly crafted. Moderate homeless titers outside. Cool music and lounge vibe inside.

“good place to hang out”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

located right beside Pike Place this is a good alternative to Starbucks. People of Seattle love coffee and this seems to be a popular place. There is a decent amount of seating so it's a great place to take a break.

They also sell their own coffee beans

“Tasty sandwich and good coffee”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat and coffee while exploring seattle and was pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches are really good, especially the goat cheese and pesto! The coffee is also really good, roasted and prepared properly. This was a nice find and I would recommend it
