I'm not a big fan of aquariums in general but one rainy day in Seattle and friend and I stopped in for a short visit.
The aquarium is small but has some nice exhibits. I particularly liked the domed room where you can sit and watch the fish and sea animals all around you. I felt sorry for the seals as their habitat seemed too small for animals of their size.
There are exhibits that children seemed to like where they could touch the sea animals in a touch pool. They also had feedings and an educational show in the big tank near the entrance with a diver.
If you have some time to spare, a trip to aquarium might be in order, especially if it is rainy. The aquarium is in the Miner's Landing area and there are shops and restaurants close by. I did think the price was high for the size of the aquarium.
