We went as a family to Seattle for the long weekend but found the prices at the city center to be too expensive so we chose this hotel 15 minutes away.
Is it a hotel or a motel? It has four floors, is independently owned and has outside access to the rooms. That indicates motel to me but I digress.
The parking lot outside has stalls that are way too narrow. It was very difficult to park without hitting the neighboring car while opening the door. The staff was very friendly and helpful giving us two adjoining rooms with an access door between them.
The hotel has a pool (out of season), small fitness center and a business center. A big bonus for us was the complimentary shuttle which took us exactly where we wanted to go downtown.
The room was clean and modern despite the age of the building. The hotel advertises the beds as queen size but they are definitely double beds. Free breakfast is included but the food was average at best and the dining room for the guests was way too small to accommodate all of people coming for a meal.
The positives outweigh the negatives and I would recommend this place for the budget traveler.More
