Location couldn't be better (close to market, waterfront and many coffee shops and restaurants) and we paid less for a 2 bedroom apartment than we would have for 2 hotel rooms. However, the stock photos on tripadvisor and stay alfred (seem to be photos of the same 2 or 3 apartments for all their units) were not at all representative of the unit we stayed in, which had old and worn bedroom furniture and dated bathroom fixtures. One bathroom had mold/stains in the tub, badly water damaged baseboards, a broken drain in the tub and no extra toilet paper. Some of the electrical outlets were dead. Unit was clean but not spotless. We were not given an access code to get in the front door and had to wait for someone to let us in to get our keys. Directions for check-in were vague and not helpful. All in all it was a good stay as we did not spend alot of time in the apartment, but I was unimpressed with the stay alfred operation and it would not be my first choice to stay at one of their properties again.
Great view and excellent location. Lyft was able to take me where ever I needed for around $7-10. Just a few blocks from Pikes Market.
